Wox Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
Wox — The Watch Box keeps track of your watch collection. It was built to know as little about you as possible. The short version: we don't collect any data. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
Where your collection is kept
Your boxes, watches, photos and wish lists are stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, Wox syncs them to your own private iCloud database, so they appear on your other iPhone and iPad. That data belongs to your Apple Account and is protected by Apple. We can't see it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Sharing with friends
When you share a box, your collection or a wish list, Wox saves a snapshot of it in your iCloud and creates a link. Anyone you give the link to can view that snapshot. Serial numbers and uncropped photos are never included, and prices only when you choose. A friend who opens the link sees the snapshot in Wox. Nothing is added to their collection, and they're removed from the share once Wox has read it.
You can also send a share as a file. Then it goes only where you send it, the same as any other file.
Backups
A backup file you export holds your whole collection. It goes only where you save or send it.
Photos and camera
Wox asks to use your photo library or camera only when you add a photo of a watch. Only the photos you choose are used, and they're kept with your collection as described above.
Data we collect
None. Wox doesn't send your information to us or to any third party, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising code.
Children
Wox is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
